A RESTRUCTURE DESIGNED FOR PERFORMANCE…

Dear Team GSS

I wanted to write to let you know of a few structural changes we’re in the process of making here at GSS HQ, commencing from October 11th 2019.

Akin to a government reshuffle and consistent with the outputs of our recent project with Design for Performance Consulting Ltd, we’re looking to align the right skills to the right roles and shape ourselves ready to take on the opposition and serve our stakeholders as best we can. Unlike the government, we hope to do so without drama, unrest or delay. Here are the key highlights…

Matt Crofts, who joined the team in October 2018, will take on the national operations director role. The last year has seen Matt exceed all our expectations and stamp his values on the company and staff. The feedback from all customers has been exceptional and I look forward to seeing Matt’s style applied nationally.

Kevin Wootton, one of the stalwarts of GSS, is moving to head up our Business Development efforts. Kevin’s vast experience in sales, marketing and recruitment – with his new ‘appreciation’ of operations, enables him to to engage new customers and staff in a uniquely rounded way.

Linsey Hughes, another valued long-term team member of our team, is taking on responsibility for providing ‘pastoral’ leadership of our head office team, broadening her current Accounts Dept. leadership responsibilities.

In early 2018, we made the strategic decision to focus all of our efforts on our existing clients and staff, achieving supplier and employer of choice status in our industry. This approach has been remarkably successful, with KPI results, positive annual customer surveys and Investors in People accreditation all reflecting well on our efforts. We are now going to focus back on growth with these pillars firmly in place.

We hope to meet with all customers and staff in the coming weeks to run through these changes, discuss how you will be affected by them and glean your feedback.

Warm regards, Daniel Mailly CEO
