GSS SUPERSTAR(S) OF THE MONTH – MAY 2021

We are delighted to announce our latest GSS Superstar Award winner for May 2021. In an unusual twist but in keeping with the on-going Euro 2021 tournament, we have decided to go for a team award. 

As such, the award(s) go to Protection Dog Handlers Michael Down and Daniel Hill who are recognised through this collective award for living our core value of Teamwork Excellence.

Michael and Daniel have worked for GSS for around a year now and bound by the usual client confidentialities, we are unable to disclose the location at which they are deployed but speaking about the award, Matt Crofts – National Operations Director said: “Through their total engagement with our management team, our clients onsite team and our various reporting processes, Mike and Danny have come to epitomise our core value of teamwork. This collaboration has resulted in numerous examples of actionable intelligence being escalated to our client and a joint proposal for an increase in service to meet the evolving security requirements of the fast moving development on which we are collectively deployed. Mike and Danny have proven themselves both professional and conscientious operators and we are delighted to have them on Team GSS!”  

The GSS Superstar Award has become an integral agenda item of our Monthly Senior Management Meetings, during which each member of our senior team puts forward a case for nomination. While the debate is constructive (and usually fun), the final selection is never (usually!) easy, as there are always award-worthy examples of our team members exceeding the standards expected of them. So, while we can only issue one award each month, we want to sincerely thank all members of our team for their continued support and hard work for our valued clients.
