Global Support Services is delighted to announce that it has entered into a new three-year agreement with The National Ice Centre and Motorpoint Arena Nottingham – to provide specialist canine-led security services and consultancy.

Capitalising on the seamless collaboration between the respective teams over the last eighteen months, this strategic partnership will continue to provide the highest quality canine-led counter-terrorism services and guidance. Additionally, GSS will also be providing both drug detection and highly socialised protection dog teams to deter the consumption of illicit substances and anti-social behaviour at the arena’s many prestigious music and sporting events.

Speaking of the new agreement Sam Hodkin – Head of Security and Stewarding at Motorpoint Arena Nottingham said “We are thrilled to extend our relationship with GSS, who over the last eighteen months have proven to be a highly reliable and valued facet of our security operations platform. Both our visitors and my own team are reassured by the presence of the GSS teams when in attendance – and I’m very much looking forward to building on the partnership in the years ahead

Kevin Wootton – Business Development Director at GSS said: “With security of public spaces higher in the nation’s consciousness than ever before, we relish collaborating with a client who appreciates our input as subject matter experts – and who values supplier relationships that go beyond the ‘transactional’ boundaries of a service provider. Sam and his team are a dream to work with and never fail to make our team members feel welcome. We couldn’t be happier to be given the opportunity to partner with them for another three years
