GSS PLEDGES TO CONTINUE TO SUPPORT OUR ARMED FORCES
Global Support Services is delighted to announce that we have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, pledging to continue to do all we can to support the Armed Forces Community.
The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise by our nation to ensure that those who serve or have served in our armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly.
The covenant is focused on helping members of the armed forces community have the same access to government and commercial services and products, as any other citizen. This support is provided in a variety of ways including education and career opportunities, access to healthcare and financial assistance, amongst other things.
GSS has long supported the armed forces community, and currently, a significant percentage of our workforce are former members of the armed services. Some of these former service men and women were recruited via transition directly from the forces through our partnerships with the likes of career transition partnership (CTP). We are also extremely proud of on-going our partnership with the world-leading charity Veterans Aid.

Kevin Wootton – Business Development Director said: “We have witnessed first-hand the level of professionalism and operational capability that comes as standard when employing former members of our armed forces. We will continue to offer a range of employment opportunities that are ideally suited to service leavers and veterans – and are delighted through this pledge, to commit to continuing to do all we possibly can to support our cherished members of the armed forces community”.
