Our business is continuing its growth and we are seeking to bolster our existing teams by adding customer-orientated professionals to work within the security industry.
MAIN GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
This role is responsible for meeting, greeting, welcoming, and guiding customers, VIP’s and visitors on their arrival at a prestigious location. The officer will often be the first person the visitor meets on-site, therefore must represent the client’s brand to the highest of standards. The officer will then direct the visitors to the appropriate parking area and relevant location or point of contact.
The officer will be responsible for the protection of high-value assets on display in the building where they work and also control access and egress to/from the car parks linked to the building
Colleague and asset protection.
A portion of the working day will be outdoors.
To act as an “ambassador” for the brand to all who attend, in line with the client brand values and mission.
Reporting to the Security Supervisor – it is desirable that you have previous experience of working in a concierge security environment, ideally in areas of high public circulation, as customer service etiquette is critically important to our client. Whilst previous security experience is desirable, we would welcome applicants with relevant customer service experience who are willing to obtain a Security Industry Authority Licence (SIA).
You will possess a clear and demonstrable customer service approach. You will need to demonstrate an ability to discreetly maintain a secure and safe environment while adhering to the high standards expected of you.
Additionally, you must possess excellent communication skills and be articulate and engaging with a passion for delivering first-class customer service.
- A valid SIA License
- First aid at work qualification
- Security experience and/or previous customer-facing roles are essential
- The ability to compile accurate and legible reports
Full training will be provided
Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 0730-1630 / Friday 0730-1200. Overtime opportunities will also be available
Flexibility on working hours is essential, as there will be aspects of the role where evening/weekend/event support is required.
