Mike Dermody
Operations Manager
I have worked with a variety of dogs, including in the army as a dog trainer in the Royal Army Veterinary Corp, serving in the likes of the UK, Germany and Belize.
I then moved to the police where I worked as a dog handler with a GP and a cadaver dog. I also worked in Counter-Terrorism and Major Serious and Organised Crime departments.
Outside of work, I helped the fire services train their Urban Search and Rescue dogs when they first started the national New Dimensions project. I am involved with the National Search and Rescue Dog Association in the training of their Drowned Victim Search Dogs with dogs throughout the UK.
To top it off, in the time I have left, I volunteer with the North West Ambulance Service as a first responder.
