What is aerial (drone) surveillance used for?
Monitoring large or hard-to-reach areas: event and crowd overwatch, site and perimeter security, rapid searches, and inspecting places that are unsafe or slow to reach on foot — all with a live feed and recorded footage.
Are your drone flights CAA compliant?
Yes. Drone operations in the UK fall under Civil Aviation Authority rules. We fly with a registered operator, qualified remote pilots, the appropriate operational authorisation for the task, and valid insurance.
Do you need a licence to monitor people with a drone?
Where drone footage is watched for security purposes — to guard premises or people — an SIA licence can apply on top of the CAA requirements. We make sure the right licensing is in place for each task.
Can drones work alongside your other teams?
Yes. Aerial overwatch is most effective combined with ground patrols, canine teams, and CCTV — the drone provides the wide-area picture that directs teams on the ground.
Can you fly at events and at night?
Subject to the site, airspace, and the relevant authorisation, yes. We assess each task and confirm what's permitted before deployment.
