Website Terms of Use

Global Support Services (UK) Ltd — Website Terms of Use Version 1.0 · Effective date: 23 July 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of www.global-support.org, including its public pages, forms and careers pages (the “Website”).

The Website is operated by Global Support Services (UK) Ltd (“GSS”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 07462040.

Our registered office is: 5–9 Headstone Road, Harrow, England, HA1 1PD.

You can contact us at: Service enquiries: info@global-support.org · Recruitment enquiries: careers@global-support.org · Telephone: 0203 751 8383.

By using the Website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. If you use the Website on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

2. Other terms that may apply

The following documents may also apply: our Privacy Notice, which explains how we use personal information; our Cookie Notice, which explains the cookies and similar technologies used by the Website; and any specific notice or terms displayed for a particular feature.

Security, surveillance, canine, close-protection and other services are supplied under a separate written agreement, quotation or statement of work. These Website Terms do not themselves create a contract for those services.

3. Information, enquiries and quotations

The Website provides general information about GSS and its services. Website content is not: security, risk, legal or other professional advice; a substitute for a site-specific assessment; an offer that is capable of acceptance; or a promise that a particular service, role or resource is available.

Please obtain appropriate advice before acting or refraining from acting on Website content.

An enquiry, application or request for a quotation does not oblige GSS to accept work, provide a service or offer employment. A service contract is formed only when the parties complete the acceptance process stated in the relevant quotation or agreement.

A vacancy advertised on the Website is not an offer of employment or engagement. We may change or withdraw a vacancy, and any appointment remains subject to our recruitment process, eligibility requirements and satisfactory checks.

The Website and its contact channels are not monitored as an emergency service. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service or on-site security team.

4. Access to the Website

We make the Website available free of charge.

We do not guarantee that the Website, or any content on it, will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free. We may suspend, withdraw, restrict or change any part of it for business, operational or security reasons.

You are responsible for: making the arrangements needed to access the Website; ensuring that anyone who accesses it through your connection is aware of these terms; and using suitable security, software and device protection.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the Website only lawfully. You must not: use it in a way that breaches any applicable law or regulation; use it for fraudulent, harmful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory or unlawful purposes; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, a server, account, database, device or network; probe, scan, test or circumvent security or authentication measures without our prior written permission; introduce malware, malicious code, denial-of-service traffic or other harmful material; scrape, harvest or extract data by automated means except as permitted by law or with our written permission; misuse contact or recruitment channels, send unsolicited bulk messages or impersonate another person or organisation; reproduce, republish, frame or commercially exploit a substantial part of the Website without permission; or help another person do any of the above.

We may block or restrict access and report suspected unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.

6. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, GSS or its licensors own the intellectual-property rights in the Website and its content, including text, photographs, video, graphics, branding, layout and software.

You may view the Website and print or download reasonable extracts for your personal use or for legitimate internal business evaluation of GSS services. You must not: modify copies of Website materials; use photographs, video, graphics or branding separately from their accompanying context; remove copyright, trade mark or ownership notices; or use Website content commercially or make it available to the public without our prior written permission.

Our status, and that of any identified contributor, must always be acknowledged. No right to use a GSS name, logo or trade mark is granted except with prior written permission.

If you breach this section, your permission to use Website material ends immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy unauthorised copies.

7. Information and material you send us

Please do not send confidential operational, security-sensitive or classified material through a general Website or email enquiry unless we have agreed a secure method.

Information you send remains yours. You give us permission to use, copy and share it only as reasonably necessary to: respond to your enquiry or application; assess, establish or perform a proposed relationship; operate, protect or improve the Website and our services; and comply with law and protect legal rights.

You must have the right to send the material and must not knowingly provide anything unlawful, malicious, misleading or infringing.

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

8. Accuracy of Website content

We take reasonable care when preparing Website content, but it is provided for general information. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate, current or suitable for a particular purpose.

Information about security risks, standards, accreditations, licences, availability, vacancies or services may change. Please contact us before relying on it for a decision or contractual commitment.

9. Third-party links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. Links are provided for information and convenience only. They do not mean that we approve or control the third party, its content, availability, security or privacy practices.

You use third-party websites subject to their own terms and policies.

You may link to our home page in a fair and lawful way that does not damage our reputation or suggest an association or endorsement that does not exist. You must not frame the Website or link from a website containing unlawful or seriously harmful content. We may withdraw linking permission on reasonable notice.

10. Viruses and cyber security

We use reasonable measures to protect the Website, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be free from malware, vulnerabilities or harmful code.

You should use your own virus protection and security controls. You must not deliberately introduce harmful material or attack the Website. Unauthorised access and cyber attacks may be criminal offences, and we may report them to law-enforcement authorities.

11. Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for: death or personal injury caused by negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

If you use the Website for business purposes. The Website is provided for general information and evaluation. Subject to the paragraph above and to the extent permitted by law, GSS will not be liable for: loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, opportunity, goodwill or reputation; business interruption; loss or corruption of data; or indirect or consequential loss, arising from or connected with use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Website or third-party links.

Nothing in these Website Terms changes a liability provision in a separate written service agreement with GSS.

If you are a consumer. Nothing in these terms affects rights that the law gives you as a consumer. If we fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of that failure or our breach of these terms. We are not responsible for business losses arising from your use of the Website for commercial purposes.

12. Personal information

We use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice. Information about cookies and similar technologies is available in our Cookie Notice.

13. Changes to the Website and these terms

We may update the Website and these terms to reflect changes to our services, technology, law or business needs.

The current terms will be published on this page with the date they took effect. Changes will apply from that date and will not retrospectively alter a contract already formed under separate service terms.

14. Transfer of rights

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms as part of a reorganisation, sale or transfer of our business, provided this does not reduce any protection the law gives you.

You may transfer your rights under these terms only with our written agreement, except where consumer law gives you a right to do so.

15. Severability and waiver

Each provision of these terms operates separately. If a court or competent authority finds part of a provision unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

If we delay enforcing these terms, that does not waive our right to enforce them later.

16. Third-party rights

Unless these terms expressly say otherwise, no person other than you and GSS has a right to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

17. Governing law and courts

These terms and any non-contractual dispute arising from the Website are governed by the law of England and Wales.

If you use the Website for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom in which you live, and you keep any mandatory rights available under the law that applies to you.
