2018 RECRUITMENT SO FAR…AND GSS NOTICES

The end of 2017 and beginning of 2018 have seen increased requests for service from a number of existing key client and some exciting new ones – that has necessitated our recruitment operation run on full-tilt to both keep up with current demand and meet predicted near future demand.

Naturally, Daniel and myself (responsible for sales and recruitment) are very closely aligned and being involved in directing the efforts of both means that we have great vantage point on which to base our decisions on recruitment focus.

For a business model that relies on its resilience as a source of competitive advantage, a crystal ball would be ideal in enabling us to predict where ‘fast-ball’ client requests for service will come from. In the absence of a crystal ball, we try to take it back to really listening to our clients challenges , which enables us to deploy targeted recruitment activity in areas requests for service are likely to be received from.

We start 2018 with sight of more strategic long-term new business opportunities than ever before. Opportunities that allow for a pro-active approach to recruitment as we look to bolster our existing teams with new, high quality operatives, to meet the resourcing requirements of these long-term contract opportunities.

We are enjoying strong growth in the areas for specialist search and in particular across Greater London – that have seen our detection teams operating a variety of prestigious, high-profile and/or logistically challenging locations over the last few months.

We have made some very exciting additions to the core office team and would like to welcome both Thomas Maguire who has been appointed as Lead Business Administrator, heading up our critically important back-office administration team. We would also like to welcome Nick Johnson who has been appointed as a dedicated Bentley Motors Contract Supervisor.

Both individuals are really high quality additions to our team, who will perfectly complement our existing operational support teams and bolster our ability to achieve our company’s twin vision of becoming both the supplier and employer of choice in our industry,

As ever we are looking individuals with both the right characteristics and aptitude to join our ever growing team. We would in particularly like to hear from:

  • Qualified Protection and Detection Dog Handlers based in or near Greater London
  • SIA Security Officers based in or near Crewe, Cheshire
  • Dog Handlers who are trained in animal containment for warrant work nationally
  • Professional, diligent and confident individuals with a background of security operations management based in or near Greater London

Lastly, big congratulations and best wishes to all of the GSS Team members who celebrated their birthdays in the last few weeks – Steve Tollitt, Phil Pennington, Ewa Nejman, Chris Polack, Sian Williams, Dimitri Panins, Paul Meaney and Anne White…
