GSS ANNOUNCES ITS SUPERSTAR OF THE YEAR 2021…

As an extension of our monthly superstar award recognition, our senior management team is given the opportunity to discuss and debate the achievements and merits of our team across the year as a whole and put forward nominations for the GSS Superstar of the Year. 

This annual initiative, now in its fourth year, is a great way to look back and reflect on the collective achievements of our team, in what is always a year of ups, downs, and in-betweens.  

After much deliberation, this year’s award will go to an individual who in his 18 months of working with GSS so far, has encouraged and exemplified our core value of reliability. He has shown repeated and ongoing initiative and dedication to our cause and has earned the respect of his peers and our client’s team while overcoming a few obstacles in the process.  

Through this award, we are delighted to recognise protection dog handler – Michael Churchman as our 2021 Superstar of the Year. 

Speaking about the award, Matt Crofts – Operations Director said “Mick has made a significant and measurable impact to contract performance. He consistently goes above and beyond the call of his core duties, often assisting new handlers with site-based inductions; offering constructive feedback to my team, and even making recruitment introductions to individuals whom he recognises are in possession of the same level of aptitude and professionalism as he is. Mick is not only a great ambassador for GSS but also a tremendous role model for conscientious security professionals everywhere”
