GSS MAKES TWO NEW OPERATIONS SIGNINGS IN THE JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW…
We are tremendously excited to announce two new senior appointments within our business…
Special Operations Division:
Derek Robinson, our current Operations Manager has been appointed to head up our newly created Special Operations Division. This Division has been created in response to the increasing amount of client requirement in the area of Close Protection, Surveillance and Investigatory Services, Event Management and Unmanned Aerial Systems. Derek will draw on his extensive experience to ensure all projects in this area are delivered effectively and efficiently and will work with our Business Development Dept. to ensure our services in this area effectively promoted to those who will benefit most by specifying them.
Operations Management:
Additionally, we are delighted to announce the appointment of Terry Finlay, who will replace Derek Robinson as Operations Manager from mid-Jan 2016.
Following on from long-term service in the British Army, Terry brings with him a wealth of specialist private sector security operations management, gained most recently working for FTSE 100 company within the nuclear enrichment sector. Terry’s objective is to ensure continual operational excellence for our key clients, a task which given his previous experience, is one we firmly believe he will excel in.
Commenting on the new appointments, Gary Malloy – Operations Director said:
“I am delighted that we have successfully managed to secure both the services of Terry and create an operating division for Derek to continue delivering the kind of services he has shown both a great deal of passion and aptitude for during the last year or so. Both appointments are representative of the success we enjoyed in 2016 and a further symptom of the foundations being laid within our business to achieve our ambitions for growth in the coming year. On behalf of my team at GSS, I can assure both Terry and Derek that we will be working to ensure a smooth transition into their new roles and we wish them both the very best of luck for the months and years ahead”
