GSS SUPERSTAR OF THE MONTH – APRIL 2019

We are delighted to announce that the GSS Superstar of the Month Award for April 2019…goes to our colleague, Terry Smith!

Terry has worked with GSS for a couple of years now, fulfilling both the explosives and drugs detection search disciplines.

During his time with us, Terry has been deployed in a variety of unique operating environments. He has proven to be always professional, personable and reliable in his duties. It is for these characteristics, aligned to our company values, that Terry is rightfully recognised through this award.

Speaking about the award, Kevin Wootton – Regional Operations Director (South) said “The word ‘stalwart’, is the first that springs to mind when I think of Terry. He’s been 100% reliable during my tenure. He’s operates both positively and passionately – and is always pro-active and reasonable in his dealings with our office team. I have also witnessed first hand on many occasion, the camaraderie he has struck up with a our clients teams at his main assignment for us in London’s west-end, becoming embedded as a important component part of their team and culture. This is a truly deserved award and I am delighted Terry has been given this recognition by our SMT.”

The GSS Superstar Award has become an integral agenda item of our Monthly Senior Management Meetings, during which each member of our senior team puts forward a case for nomination. While the debate is constructive (and usually fun), the final selection is never easy, as there are always award-worthy examples given of our team members exceeding the standards expected of them. So, while we can only issue one award each month, we want to sincerely thank all members of our team for their continued support and hard work for our valued clients.
