GSS WELCOMES A NEW HEAD OF OPERATIONS

After receiving unprecedented interest in our newly created Head of Operations role including the receipt of approximately 500 applications – seeing some seriously awesome candidate presentations – we have finally selected our new head office superstar…

It is with great excitement that we announce that Leigh Gillon has been selected for the role of Head of Operations.

Wait what, the Leigh Gillon who used to work for GSS and left five years ago (we hear some of you ask)? Yes, that Leigh Gillon.

Adding to his already considerable amount of operational know-how gained through his previous eight years with us, Leigh has spent much of the last five years focused on compliance auditing for National Security Inspectorate. 

As well as an in-built appreciation for our company culture and values, and adding to the significant amount of industry knowledge he will bring, Leigh will spearhead our operations team with a pragmatic approach to operations management – and a heavy focus on both compliance and the adoption of industry best practice.

Speaking about his return to the GSS fold, Leigh said ‘The opportunity to return to GSS was too tempting to turn down. I am really looking forward to applying what I have learned over the last few years to ensure the business continues to deliver on its critical success factors”

Leigh will be reaching out in due course to introduce (and in some cases re-introduce) himself to all on our team and of course our valued clients. 

In the meantime, we wish Leigh the best of luck as he gets re-acquainted with our business – and we’re really looking forward to supporting him in driving through his enhancements to our operational delivery in the months ahead.
