GSS SUPERSTAR OF THE MONTH – MAY 2018
We are delighted to announce that the GSS Superstar of the Month Award for May 2018 goes to…our colleague, Protection Dog Handler – Stewart Campbell.
Stewart is a long-standing team member here at GSS and has been supporting the requirements of our client sites in our southern regions for several years now. Recently, Stewart has been dedicated to supporting our client Wilson James at Red Bull F1 in Milton Keynes. Through this award, Stewart is recognised for living our core company values of ‘Strive for Excellence‘ and ‘Reliability‘. Stewart’s service delivery is exemplary in every way. He is trained in multiple disciplines of security, including surveillance and investigations. This training really comes to the fore when reporting on incidents/gathering intelligence for our clients site security team to act on. This includes a very recent incident during which Stewart and his dog Tazar’s presence averted what was very like to be an illegal entry onto our clients site. In addition to this, Stewart has recently taken on supervisory tasks which have been carried out with the same positivity and professionalism as his site based work.
Speaking of the award, Regional Operations Director, Kevin Wootton said “Stewart was an easy pick for the award this month. He goes out of his way to go the extra mile for our team and can be counted on to approach every task he takes on with both pride and diligence. He is a real asset to GSS and a great support to me professionally’.
The GSS Superstar Award has become an integral agenda item of our Monthly Senior Management Meetings, during which each member of our senior team puts forward a case for nomination. While the debate is constructive (and usually fun), the final selection is never easy, as there are always award-worthy examples given of our team members exceeding the standards expected of them. So, while we can only issue one award each month, we want to sincerely thank all members of our team for their continued support and hard work for our valued clients.
